At Amberley School, we use Liz Kane's 'The Code' for the order in which we teach our spelling rules and patterns. It is similar to iDeal's scope and sequence; it starts with teaching the simple code and then progresses to teaching the more complex. We teach the spelling rules and patterns that are explained in this video.
