Some of our students managed to draft and publish in 5 days! They were very focused and worked hard to complete their recount. Ava, Sofia, William and Sam's stories are below.

The holidays - by Ava

The movies

One sunny day Amelia, Dad,and I decided to go to the movies and see The Boss Baby. It was a really good movie because the baby turned out to be a wee spy. Also the boy that was already in the movie was really funny too, because when his parents asked him if he wanted a baby brother he said “no”. His parents were so surprised. We got a drink and a packet of lollies to share with each other. Then we just went home to dad's house and chilled out.

My wiggly tooth.

One early morning i woke up with a tooth ache, it was a really sore tooth. But it had been wiggly for a long time so you would understand why it would hurt. Yay finally after I had eaten a wrap it came out.

One night after Amelia's rugby we went to mom's friends house and we saw our little kitten we had given away . That made me really happy oh and one more thing...I had a really good holiday. 

My holiday - by Sofia

I woke up and the pool was shimmering then i tip toed into the lounge room before i woke up my best friend named Briea. I found out that Briea was awake all that time. she walked into the lounge room then we watched killer karaoke while my mum made breakfast.

We left to go to the movies. we watched “boss baby”. it was very weird. the funny part was when they were putting on baby powder on its touche and he does a little toot and all the baby powder went up in the air. then we went to a cafe, I had fruit salad, helene had chocolate brownie, Briea had a lamington. We were heading to the car and we said “bye,” because I was going with them.

We got to the hotel me and Briea went on the go carts. we went all around the hotel. we got off then went to the pool. the pool was heated. it had a big hydroslide. we got out and the moon was going up. we went to sleep.

In the first week of the holidays I went bowling with my family, I came third by 10 in the first round, in the second round I came second by 3.

One day later my mum purchased “Bendy and the ink machine chapter 2” for me. Its really cool because it has some awesome twists causing you to go deeper into the workshop - like when Sammy Lawrence captures you and tries to sacrifice you to Bendy but it backfires.

One week later my sister’s friend Jaylea came over and we went into a forest and saw a fantail. It was beautiful, tiny and brown. It was following us.

My holiday - by William

I was packing my final things, my brother and I were excited about the trip. We were looking forward to leaving. I hopped into the car, I was gripping my book tightly. I placed it beside me.

I strapped on my seat belt and we were off. I set course of the nav onto our destination and sighed when I looked at the time it would take to drive there.

4 hours? Come on!

I decided to gaze out the window. I lost my conscience and regained it an hour later. We were driving around an area which had many farms and irrigation. I reached for the phone and sank myself into a few games. I put it down 1 hour and a ½ half later and once again stared out my window.

½ an hour until we get there. As I continued gazing absentmindedly I noticed we were there. Hooray,

We arrived at the campground and pitched the tent. After that we went off to a canal to do a bit of fishing.
