Our children get some amazing opportunities at Amberley School

Our leadership class were surfing last week, and this week they are exploring Cave Stream. This is all part of their William Pike Challenge, which all students will get to experience when they in Year 8. 

Learning Conferences (Parent Interviews)

On the Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of April, school will finish at 12.30pm to allow time for our learning conferences. Online booking information will be sent home in the next week or so. 

Easter Raffle

Thank you for supporting our Easter Raffle. Please return your money ($10) and ticket stubs to the school office when you have sold your tickets. We have had a great response already - thank you for supporting this fundraiser. If you are unable to sell your tickets, simply return to the office as soon as possible (as we will be able to sell them - lots of families have been able to sell more than their allocation which is fabulous!)

Quiz Night

Have you got your team sorted yet? This is on 10th April at the Tin Shed and is a great night out. Grab your tickets from the school office. 

Scooters at School

Thank you for supporting our stance on scooters (as outlined in the last newsletter). There are still scooters being left outside overnight, and there are still two scooters (unclaimed) in my office from the start of the year. Please talk to your children about how to care for their belongings. 

Easter Tuesday - long weekend ahead!

It has been a while since the Easter break has fallen outside of the school holidays. It has therefore possibly come as a surprise to many that as well as Good Friday and Easter Monday, the Tuesday is also a nationwide school holiday. School will be closed on this day - I know that your children (and our teachers) will enjoy the extra long weekend.
