Macrame Jewellery: Amberley, 7 – 9pm
Macrame is the art of knot-tying, to create beautiful and useful items. In this class, craft artist Tamar Guse will show us how to make ornamental macramé such as jewellery, using a variety of knots, threads and beads. TimeBank Hurunui’s mid-winter Barn Dance, Amberley Pavilion, 7 – 10pm. With caller Gary Elford and the Incredible Ceilidh Band.
A family-fun night for the community. Dances steps are called, and you don’t need a partner. There’ll be great music, great company and a supper provided by TimeBank Hurunui members. 'mid winter women's wellness' evening Thursday, 22nd june at 7.00pm
Bring your mat (or towel) and give yoga, dance, self defense & relaxation a go, then stay on for a talk on 'menopause'
Several stalls will be there on the night selling or promoting their products & services
To be held in the Kaiapoi North school hall, 278 Williams Street, Kaiapoi

Andrew Dakers from ecoEng Ltd,a Christchurch based consulting engineering company integrating engineering
with ecosystems,will give some examples of what is needed for safe compliant ways to realise the resource values of household wastewater.
Composting toilets and greywater recovery within property boundaries will be discussed.
