Moana went to camp at Wainui

Rooms 7, 8 and 9 had a wonderful 3 days at Wainui, being challenged, trying new things, making new friends and eating tasty food cooked by our wonderful parent supporters.

The archery stall, where the children got to use a bow and arrows to try and hit the yellow bulls eye!

Orienteering - looking for those clues that were shown on the map, but were sometimes pretty hard to find!!

The rickety old swing bridge, watch out for trolls!

The bush surrounding the camp site was lush and green, with lots of wildlife - such as bellbirds, kereru, cicadas and the occasional wild child!

Biscuiting out in the bay near sunset - what an amazing ride!

Emily, Chrissie and Janayha on an amazing ride over the waves and around Wainui Bay, as the sun sets and the sky turns to every shade of pink.

Akaroa harbour - a popular place for cruise ships! (Thanks for the photos, Andrew!)
