The Amberley Medical Centre’s Doctors and Nurses are all PRIME (Primary Response in Medical Emergencies) Responders.

Did you know that when you call 111, our Doctors and Nurses are usually mobilised to the emergency along with the local St John volunteers?

We work as a team, supporting each other and ensuring our rural community has 24/7 emergency response and treatment across the District. In the last year, our team has responded to over 200 emergency 111 calls with most of these taking place After Hours.

Our Doctors and Nurses have recently undergone their two yearly PRIME update with St John’s Advanced Paramedics. This is extra training which focuses on emergency response and treatment of patients involved in accidents or medical emergencies.

Amberley School has entered into an initiative with KiwiSaver provider, Fisher Funds.

Our school will receive an initial $20 donation for every person who signs up or transfers to Fisher Funds. The donation will continue to support the School as long as the Kiwi Saver investment is made.
