Hindi lessons at Amesbury School in Term 3

Urs Cunningham —

After school Hindi classes were trialed in Term 2 this year, and will be continuing in Term 3.

The Hindi lessons are run by the Wellington Hindi School, and  are organised by the head teacher, Sunita Narayan.

The classes run once a week on Thursdays, from 3:15 - 4:15pm. Lessons are held in Koru Hub, in Karaka suite, where the carpet is orange. Registration for the programme will cost $45 per child for the term of lessons. This is a great opportunity for our community to further develop cultural knowledge which is beneficial for our tamariki (children) in preparing them for tomorrow’s global challenges.

If your child is currently attending these Hindi classes, Sunita will contact you to confirm registration for Term 3. If your child has not yet attended classes and you are interested in registering or finding out more about the classes, please email Sunita: sunita.d.narayan@gmail.com

Warm regards,

The Amesbury team
