Everything you need to know around and about school for the next week.

Student Conferences  Don't forget to book your end of term student conference! Please see our previous article here which explains how to book your appointment. 

Co-curricular Open Days for parents  You are invited to come and watch your child's co-curricular lessons. An email will be sent to parents confirming the timetable. Please mark these dates for your diary: 

  • Wednesday, 28th March for drums, guitar, ukelele, violin and singing; 
  • Friday, 6th April for keyboard, speech & drama and gymnastics. 

Netball Player of the day trophies  We are approaching the netball season and have noticed that we are missing two of our trophies and would like these returned before the season starts. They will have  Amesbury School Player of the Day inscribed on them.

School Swimming in Terms 2 and 3 Please read this article for everything you need to know about school swimming lessons. Please note, Harakeke students have their lessons in term 2, and Koru and Te Rito will have their lessons in term 3.

Lunch Orders - Term 2  As Subway are discontinuing at the end of this term and Harakeke students will be swimming on Tuesdays in Term 2, we have changed pizza to Thursdays next term. Here is our lineup: 

  • Wednesdays - Nada Bakery via LunchOnline
  • Thursdays - Pizza Hut via Kindo (online school shop)
  • Fridays - Pita Pit via LunchOnline

If your child is going to be away (sick/holiday/off-site school activity) lunch orders can be cancelled through the online shop any time, including up until 8:15 am on the morning of the order.

Multicultural Fair  Please see the attached Flyer about the upcoming Churton Park Multicultural Fair being held at Amesbury School on Sunday, 25th March 12-3pm.
