Butter Chicken
A favourite dinner of Siena and Luca's.
Ingredients
Chicken breast cubed
Butter chicken sauce
Basmati rice
Sour cream to mix into sauce or plain Greek yoghurt
Oil for pan
Method:
Wash one cup of rice, add to a saucepan and add 2 cups of water, bring to the boil, then reduce heat to the lowest setting, cook for 20 minutes. When rice is cooking, prepare and cook the butter chicken, as follows.
Dice chicken, heat pan with oil (1tbsp).
Brown the chicken, add sauce and reduce heat to a simmer for 20 minutes.
The rice and sauce will be ready at the same time!
As an accompaniment, you can have naan or roti, to dip into sauce.
