It was not how we had pictured the day but we are pleased to have still been able to celebrate Amesbury School turning 10 with the staff and students. Read this article to find out more about how each hub celebrated the big 1 0.

Today's celebration can be described as an explosion of colour and activity. Students and teachers had a lot of fun participating in a range of activities. Excited chatter and laughter could be heard throughout the school.

In Koru, they played a range of party games, including musical statues and pin the A on Amesbury School (which caused a lot of laughter). Students in this hub also decorated party hats and birthday biscuits.

Students in Harakeke engaged in a range of art activities. Students made birthday cards, party hats and decorations.

Pōhutukawa students drew colourful hands which they stuck on an enormous 10. The 10 was so big that students had to make three or four hands each.

At the end of the block, all students received a 10-year anniversary badge and an ice block.

There are a few photos below, however, please follow this link for more photos.

*Please note that we are still very keen to celebrate Amesbury School's tenth birthday with the whole community. We will look to do this when it is safe to do so.
