We asked, we listened, we researched, and now we are excited to be adding a HOODIE to the uniform!
When some students were asked in 2023 what Urs could do to make things even better at Amesbury, the response was ... a hoodie! So we've made that happen, and are introducing the option of a zip-up hoodie to the Amesbury uniform range.
The fleece jacket remains available as the extra warm (350gsm) outer layer in sizes 2 and up, and the hoodie is another lighter weight option (270gsm) in sizes 6 and up, that can be worn instead of, or layered with, the fleece.
Students don’t have to have both, but will be required to have one of the outer layers as part of their uniform. The Amesbury School hoodie will be priced at $63 from the 6th July, but for now, we're offering a ...

- Kid size (6 - 14) and Adult size (Small - 5XL)
- 270gsm midweight, 100% polyester performance fabric (brushed inside for comfort)
- Black with contrast grey features (hood lining, drawcord, zip and raglan sleeve stitch)
- Embroidered with the Amesbury logo
- Fabric is breathable, moisture wicking, colourfast and quick drying
When will it be available? We are waiting for the samples and stock to arrive in a couple of weeks, so will advise when they will be available to try on and order in Kindo.
How do I get one? If you’re interested in ordering a hoodie when the stock has arrived:
- Once we have advised our community that the hoodies have arrived, please visit the office with your child(ren), where a sample in each size will be available for them to try on. (Exchanges will not be available for the wrong size ordered.)
- Orders must be submitted via Kindo (no cash payments)
- Please wait to be advised by email about when the hoodie orders are ready to collect, as initial orders will be processed in batches
- After collection, hoodies are to be taken home to be clearly named before they can be worn at school
We will endeavour to have plenty of each size in stock, but demand for a new product is unknown, so there may sometimes be a 2-3 week delay in receiving your hoodie order.
