It was very grey and gloomy but the weather held out long enough so we could complete all events.

It was great to see all children giving everything a go and persevering even when the rain drops decided to shower on us.   Their attitude and commitment to the day was commendable.

I would like to thank the teachers, parents and volunteers from Athletics Wellington for their hard work on the day.  We all know that such a large event cannot run smoothly without assistance.

The Northern Zone Team has been selected and I would like to congratulate them and wish them well for Monday 9 November.
