Share & Celebrate - Term 1 - Week 4
Share & Celebrate is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our ākonga/students.
Our Share & Celebrate shout outs were given today in our buddy whānau tuakana/teina groups. These are whānau that work together and support each other, an older year group working with a younger year group.
We love recognizing the effort our ākonga put into their learning, completing a tough task, the fantastic leadership they show, or the thoughtful ways they act around our kura.
If your child has had a success out of school that you'd like us to mention in our Share & Celebrate, please email the details directly to their whānau teacher.
Congratulations to all of the ākonga listed below.
Hanson: We have been so impressed with the leadership you have been showing around school in the first few weeks. You have volunteered to help on road patrol, taken initiative to support people who need help, and used beautiful manners and social skills around the hub, saying hello and asking people how they are. Well done for being such a good role model.
Jaiorn: You did such a great job helping last Thursday! You helped put away all the bikes and made them stand in a nice, neat row. Some bikes were really big - even bigger than you!- but you put them away. You waited so nicely while other kids came by with their bikes, and you told them, "I can put that away for you!" That was really kind. Thank you so much for being such a good helper!
Adam L, Hanson, Justin, Keira J: Tino pai tō awhi i tērā marama! We want to give you an extra big shout-out for your amazing leadership at the very first Mihi Whakatau of this year. You only had two blocks to prepare & you all stood with mana to welcome our manuhiri to our kura.
Matty: We were so impressed by how politely and clearly you came and told the duty teacher about your problem during lunch time. Ka pai for coming and telling a teacher and using your words.
