Potato Bhaji
Aashrith's favourite potato snack.
Ingredients
1 cup of chickpea flour
1/2 cup of rice flour
salt to taste
1/2 tsp of red chili powder
1/2 tsp of carom seeds
2 tsp of hot oil
potatoes
Method
Peel and wash the potatoes. Slice them thinly with a peeler and place them in a bowl of water.
In a wide bowl, mix all the batter ingredients with water to make a fluid consistency.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
Dip each potato slice in the prepared batter and place it in the hot oil.
Fry until cooked and golden brown.
Serve them hot.
