Potato Bhaji

Aashrith's favourite potato snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of chickpea flour

  • 1/2 cup of rice flour

  • salt to taste

  • 1/2 tsp of red chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp of carom seeds

  • 2 tsp of hot oil

  • potatoes

Method

  • Peel and wash the potatoes. Slice them thinly with a peeler and place them in a bowl of water.

  • In a wide bowl, mix all the batter ingredients with water to make a fluid consistency.

  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.

  • Dip each potato slice in the prepared batter and place it in the hot oil.

  • Fry until cooked and golden brown.

  • Serve them hot.
