Banana Blueberry Smoothie
"This is a simple smoothie that we will whip up 3-4 times a week. Packed full of protein, calcium, filling but light for a before-sport snack. These are approximate measurements, you can add more or less of any of the ingredients and blend to your desired consistency." - Xavier + Whānau
For 1 serving blend:
1 frozen banana chopped up
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup vanilla yoghurt (or any greek/fruit yoghurt!)
1/2 cup milk
Tips:
Save old/brown bananas and freeze for smoothies.
If you don't have frozen bananas, use a fresh one and use less milk. Overripe ones taste the best.
