Banana Blueberry Smoothie

"This is a simple smoothie that we will whip up 3-4 times a week. Packed full of protein, calcium, filling but light for a before-sport snack. These are approximate measurements, you can add more or less of any of the ingredients and blend to your desired consistency." - Xavier + Whānau

For 1 serving blend:

  • 1 frozen banana chopped up

  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup vanilla yoghurt (or any greek/fruit yoghurt!)

  • 1/2 cup milk

Tips: 

  • Save old/brown bananas and freeze for smoothies.

  • If you don't have frozen bananas, use a fresh one and use less milk. Overripe ones taste the best.
