It is time to use your baking skills to support our fundraising efforts!
Our preparations for our Cultural Festival are truly underway, and we now need your support for our fundraising BAKE SALE.
Along with the many activities that will take place during our Cultural Festival, we are planning to have a BAKE SALE. This fundraising would be an important part of our Festival as the money raised will go towards a pou for our new building.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We are looking for yummy baked donations that can be sold in small quantities (brownies, cupcakes, cookies, etc.) It would also be fantastic to see some treats from different countries for everyone to enjoy.
Your baking needs to come with a note or dietary slip letting us know if it contains eggs, dairy, or nuts and if it is gluten-free or vegan.
You can bring your baking to the school office. We will be accepting the donations on Friday the 10th of November from 8:00 to 9:00 am and from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
We are also still looking for some parents to help with the set up of the Bake stand and with the selling of the goods. If you are able to help, these are the times we need you:
2 parents from 8:30 to 9:15 (receiving the donations and ensuring they all have a dietary slip.)
2 parents from 2:30 to 3:30 (receiving the donations, ensuring they all have a dietary slip.)
2 parents from 3:30 to 4:30 (setting up and minding the stand, ensuring everything is ready for sale, receiving money, and giving change.)
2 parents from 4:30 to 5:30 (minding the stand, receiving money and giving change; and packing down at the end.)
Here is a dietary slip form you can use but you can also write this on any piece of paper.
I want to take this opportunity to thank those parents who have been in contact with me already. This is a major event for our school and we could not have done this without your support.
If you would like to help either with some baking or with your valuable time, please contact Gina by email: gina@amesbury.school.nz
We look forward to seeing you all at this amazing event.
