Thursday 31st October will see ākonga from Y4-6 travel to take part in our annual athletics day.

We are excited that Nairnville Park will host this year's Senior Athletics Day again in Term 4. We hope to include whānau relay races at the end of the day similar to the recent swimming event.

Preparations have been underway at school during PE and fitness times. We look forward to seeing the tamariki trying their best in all disciplines which include the long jump, quoits, vortex, sprints, long sprints, 800m and high jump. Fingers crossed for some good weather!

The first event is expected to start around 10am and you are most welcome to come along and support our tamariki on the day. If you would like to volunteer to help, please let Rupert know at rupert@amesbury.school.nz.
