In Week 8 this term (beginning Monday 24 November), we will be focusing on learning outside the classroom. Read on to find out more.

Year 0–2:
Ākonga will enjoy two trips during EOTC week — one to the Police Museum and Aotea Lagoon play area, and another to Johnsonville Memorial Park and Waitohi Library. They will also take part in a range of fun activities back at school on the other days.

Year 3–6:
Ākonga have opted into a thread of learning based on themes such as food, art, sport, history, WOW wearable arts, and animals. These groups will spend four days completing activities related to their theme, both at school and off-site. On the fifth day, all Year 3–6 students will head to Matiu/Somes Island — this is the trip that was postponed earlier in the year due to weather.
