On Monday afternoon, we had an awesome opportunity to get a visit from the Playhouse Theatre for a wonderful performance called The Reluctant Dragon.

The Reluctant Dragon is about a kind dragon named Sam. Sam is the last kind of dragon they find living in a cave high on a hill overlooking the village. Luckily for Sam, who is lonely, he loves flowers, poetry, and sweet love songs. Unfortunately, Sam forgets to keep his new friend a secret, and soon the scared villagers demand action to get rid of the fire-breathing dragon from their area.

When a famous dragon-slayer arrives looking for Sam’s new best friend, Sam finds a way to make everyone understand that not all dragons are dangerous before it was too late!!!

We all had a fun time knowing that there are kind dragons around!
