Calling all adventure, adrenaline-seeking tamariki! The Junior Tough Guy & Gal Challenge returns to Camp Wainui.

If your child would love to run through water trails, crawl under obstacles, clamber through tunnels, wade through swamp crossings and pull themselves up hill climbs please register them. Your child must be okay with being cold and wet as they make their way through the course. There are hot showers and changing facilities available at the end of the course for everyone to use.

This 'Extreme Off Road Running Event' is open to Y3-6. Years 3 & 4 will complete the Ankle Biters 1.5km course, while Y5 & 6 complete the Little Nippers 3km course.

When registering your child please make sure you select "I THE PARENT will pick up the race number” (we are not entering as a school group)

• Date: Monday 04th & Friday 08th May 2026. Participants arrive from 9:30am. Races start at 11am. Prize-giving at 12.45 pm.

• Venue: Camp Wainui – 203 Coast Road, Wainuiomata, Wellington.

• Transport: You will need to transport your child to and from the event and supervise your child during the event.
