Whooping Cough - Pertussis

Two children from Amesbury School have been diagnosed with probable Whooping Cough.
Please read the attached letter and information regarding the condition.
If you or your child show any of the symptoms outlined (particularly if you have not been immunised) please seek medical advice.

Anyone with a persistent cough should see a doctor, and remain away from school until the doctor is sure it is not whooping cough.
