Amesbury School

Kia ora and welcome to the last week of Term 2 for 2019. Halfway through the year already!

Matariki, last week, provided the opportunity to participate in a few different things like the Matariki Breakfast on Tuesday morning and the Matariki Disco on Friday evening. From all accounts the food was awesome at the breakfast, everything was well organised, everyone had fun and, without particularly realising it, some learning was done.

Don't forget to come along this Friday (5 July) for the Learning Celebration starting at 1.50pm. We will have presentations, awards and some special farewells to people who have been connected with the school since it started.

The flu seems to be taking hold in Wellington at the moment, particularly in schools and preschools so please follow the precautions set out in the Notices not only for the benefit of your own children but for everyone else they will come in contact with.

That's about it for this term, information wise. Enjoy the last week of Term 2 and take the opportunity to do something different over the holidays. Until Monday 22 July

Nga mihi nui
