It's great having so many enthusiastic readers checking books out - we now need your help getting them checked back in as end of Term 4 is approaching.
It's that time again to search high and low for books due and overdue to be returned. Please check behind couches, under cushions, in bedrooms, backpacks, cars, and maybe even in the library itself.
The library will be closed for issuing from Week 7 (29 November) as we need to start our stocktaking and ensure that books are ready for 2022.
Thanks,
Team Library - Regina, Caro and Navy

Activity Week - Week 7
Activity week, where the ākonga (students) had an enjoyable time, has now come and gone, and for most it also turned out to be a very exhausting week.
However, there are more action filled photos while the tamariki (children) were at camp.
Koru Hub
Here's a link to some photos taken of the Koru tamariki on their recent EOTC trips to Awesome Bounce in Porirua, walk to Churton Park Park and the sleepover at school.
The highlight was the drive-in movie session at school on Friday.
As we look forward to next year, we need your help to meet the needs of our school Community.
If you haven't done so already, we would really appreciate you filling in a quick and simple feedback form around 'connection, communication, and getting involved'. Read Urs' brief outline to give context and then complete the form.
Your few minutes to help would be greatly appreciated.
Just a reminder of this notice if you missed it last week
We've noticed an increase in the number of personal devices and in particular smart watches being brought to school.
While they are not banned, it is timely for us all to take a look at the school policy that surrounds this and the responsibility for their safety. Please, therefore, take a few minutes to read through this article which covers these matters.
If you have any school library books or readers at home (or elsewhere) can you please dig them out and return them to the library preferably by the close of school on Tuesday.
The library is now closed for issuing as we need to start our stocktaking and ensure that books are ready for 2022.

From 1st December 2021 through to 31st January 2022, we’re inviting the children of Wellington on a very special Summer Reading Adventure — an adventure that will take them around the city, into their own back yards, down to their local library, into the pages of more than a few books, and back home again in time for tea.
Along the way, children will be reading books, drawing pictures and maps, taking videos, completing challenges, getting out into nature, and maybe fighting off the odd monster or two — all in the name of seeing who shall have the honour of being crowned Supreme Champion of Words, Books and Deeds. Children will also be earning all kinds of awesome prizes for their efforts, from collectible badges to ice-cream vouchers, free books, movie tickets, family passes to Zealandia, Wellington Zoo, and the Space Place, and much more.
