Having your say

Great to see a number of you signing up to Loomio – the online discussion and decision-making tool. However, when I last checked no-one had actually contributed their thinking to the four strands/questions related to the New Build that I put there.

I fully understand that people are really busy right now or that you may not have anything in particular that you want to say and you may be happy to leave the decision-making in the hands of others.

I completely understand that may be the case. However, I am asking you not to just let the opportunity to contribute slip by and then regret it later. If you have something you want to say, please do so. If you feel that the questions are too prescribed, please just put your contribution anywhere and I will see it.

I am now well into preparing the New Build Education Brief and hope to have it finished by the end next week - so it is not too late for you to contribute to messages we will send to the Ministry about the New Build.

It would be great for everyone to sign up to Loomio because we are hoping to use this quite a bit to get little bits of feedback here and there. It is a great way for everyone to contribute to the ongoing development of the school. So, please sign up and take opportunities to contribute.

This year has been particularly busy (for some reason!) and we have not managed to organise the range of face-to-face focus groups we had last year. We are really hoping to get these going again next year because I found them really useful. So look out for opportunities to contribute through these forums next year.

Wishing you all the very best as we hurtle towards the end of the year.

Kind regards

Lesley
