Amesbury Digest - 6 March 2019

Congratulations to Sonia and Javien for their winning lantern creations. Plus also a special thank you to Sonia who, not only won a trip to Singapore for her and one of her parents (good luck with that choice), but also $1000 for the school.

I enjoyed the task today of taking photos. I went down the street to find the Pedal Ready group who were practising what they'd learnt about approaching intersections on a bike. Then it was back to school where there was a lot of noise which I soon discovered was groups of kids trying to outdo each other at their Kapa Haka tasters. (Parents, ask your kids whether they are interested in signing up to be part of the school's Kapa Haka group). This had also drawn the interest of the group of visiting Korean journalists. From there I wandered off to be entertained by the violins, guitars, and drums of the different co-curricular groups. Work can be really hard sometimes!

Don't forget to check out the notices below.

Enjoy your week.
