Amesbury Junior Invitational Cross Country

For this event we invite all other local primary schools to bring along their 5 fastest girls and boys in Years 1, 2 and 3 to compete in a set of thrilling finals. 

The Invitational will be held from 11:30am - 1pm on Thursday 8th June at Amesbury School. We will be using our bike track again, which is now well and truly tried and tested! Year 1 and 2 students will be running 1 loop of the track (500m) and Year 3 students will run 2 loops (1km). 

The Amesbury team who are invited to take part in the cross country are:

Year 1 Girls: April Y, Greer L, Hanbyul J, Livvy J and Elizabeth J. 

Year 1 Boys: Bosco W, Jayden M, Oliver M, Alex G and Micah H.

Year 2 Girls: Ila H, Hannah K, Vrusha M, Ciara A and Vida C. 

Year 2 Boys: Liam H, Lucas Si, Josh C, Lucas Sm and Kirat S. 

Year 3 Girls: Felicity G, Olivia W, Si-Yeon L, Ruby C and Georgie N. 

Year 3 Boys: Max S, James M, Ewan M, Jacob K and Affan K. 

All other Koru and Te Rito students will be willing cheerleaders, encouraging all runners to do their very best. Some older Harakeke students will act as marshalls and lead runners for each race. 

Parents and whanau are most welcome to come along and attend the cross country  - it is always a fabulous event involving many of our local schools.
