The Board met for the first time in its official capacity last week, and it will continue to be led by David Waters, who has been chairman since the school opened, with Deputy Chair, John Bunting.

We are fortunate to be joined by David Robiony-Rogers and Imogen Dear, two new parent representatives who bring a range of new experience to our Board of Trustees. Thank you in advance for your service to our school!

There is  still one vacancy left on the Board, and there will be a by-election to fill this position.  More information will be coming soon about the by-election.

Newlands Intermediate School is holding an Open Evening on August 11th for all prospective 2017 students. The evening will start in our school hall at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

On Tuesday August 30th we will have a School in Action morning for parents and students to see and get a feel for teaching and learning at our school.

Later in the year we will have an Orientation morning for enrolled students, Friday November 11th.
