Senior Athletics Results 2021
Term 4 got off to a racing start with almost 200 ākonga travelling across Wellington to participate in five different events at the wonderfully equipped Newtown Park.
The excitement and energy was palpable as everyone filed into the stands for the 10am start time. There was little time wasted as the students quickly set about displaying their resilience and skillset with some energy in reserve for the final 800m event to close out the day.

Thanks to our amazing teachers and parent helpers who doubled as officials on the day and a big well done to all our Year 3 students who were competitive in their practice rounds too.
Unfortunately with the Wellington Region remaining at Alert Level 2, the usual next step for qualifiers, zone athletics, has been cancelled for 2021. We are very much looking forward to next year already.
