This Week is 'Transition Week'
What is it? It is the opportunity for all of the tamariki move into the hubs that they will be in 2022. This enable tamariki to be more familiar and comfortable with their kaiako and surroundings when they return for 2022. The other main benefit is that teaching and learning can commence from day 1 in 2022. once transitioned, tamariki will remain in their new hubs for the remaining few days of this school year.
Feedback around connection, communication, and getting involved
As we look forward to next year, we need your help to meet the needs of our school Community.
At this stage we would really appreciate you filling in a quick and simple feedback form around 'connection, communication, and getting involved'. Read Urs' brief outline to give context and then complete the form.
Your few minutes to help would be greatly appreciated.
Use of Smart Watches at School
We've noticed an increase in the number of personal devices and in particular smart watches being brought to school.
While they are not banned, it is timely for us all to take a look at the school policy that surrounds this and the responsibility for their safety. Please, therefore, take a few minutes to read through this article which covers these matters.
If you have any school library books or readers at home (or elsewhere) can you please dig them out and return them to the library.
The library is now closed for issuing as we need to start our stocktaking and ensure that books are ready for 2022.

For those of you who wondered why the carpark was closed last week please check out these photos and video clips to see what progress was made 'behind the fence'. The onlookers were certainly enjoying it.

Pre-Xmas Holiday Programmes
Kelly Club Holiday Programmes focus on giving children aged between 5 and 13 the opportunity to do things they enjoy in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. The programme is packed with activities to entertain and inspire children. We have some exciting days planned: Water Nerf Battle, Teddy Bears Picnic, Kiwiana Xmas, Santa's Workshop and lots of more Xmas fun!

We will be back at all the above centres from 10 Jan 2022 with some Super Summer Fun days planned including; Summer Camp, King of the Jungle, Barnyard Games, Wheels Day plus trips to Movies - Sing 2!, Awesome Bounce, Ten Pin Bowling, Staglands and Zappo the Magician is coming to Kelly Club!

Come along and improve technique, knowledge and learn more about the basic skills of "The Beautiful Game" (Football). We will focus on the core skills of control, dribbling, passing, tackling, shooting but most importantly having as much fun as possible!
