Student Conferences

Reminder to book a student conference for your child/ren. Conferences will held in the last week of term. Please follow this link to an article that explains who to book with and how to book a conference. Time slots are filling up fast, so get on and book!

Please note that conference bookings will be closed at 8am on the morning of the first day of conferences (Wednesday 26th Sep), so teachers can prepare for the conferences they have scheduled. Last minute surprise bookings can mean teachers are not able to be fully prepared for the conference.

Camillia Art Project - Thursday 13 September 1:40-3pm

We are looking forward to Artist Wendy Hannah visiting school next week to make recycled plastic cut outs to celebrate our Women Heroines.  Wendy will show a short powerpoint presentation which talks about the Suffrage Movement historically and what it means moving into the future. The workshop will have parallels with recycling plastic, then workshops with local artists, demonstrating how to upcycle plastic bottles. Their art team will visit each hub at the same time so the whole school can make recycled camellias. Children will all make a camillia and add it to her art installation. Parents are invited to come along and help the children make their art piece.

Please see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwDwC9eBHqc

Please collect your 1.5 - 2-litre coke, sprite, and tonic bottles (ideally those with a flower shape at the bottom) and send in to school. Ideally each student will need 2 bottles.
