PSW Football
An enjoyable and fruitful day out for the students and parents who went to this week's football tournament.
Amesbury sent two teams to the 2019 PSW Northern Zone football tournament held at Alex Moore Park on Tuesday.
Amesbury City got off to a flying start, racking up some good results early on. Amesbury United took a bit longer to find their feet, but became a more coherent unit as the day progressed. We saw some impressive goals, some amazing goalkeeping, and a lot of thoughtful teamwork.
The students showed great sportsmanship, supported their teammates well, and congratulated their opponents graciously regardless of the result. Well done to our students.
We look forward to another successful event next year.
