Young (and not-so-young) musicians at Amesbury
There was some serious musicianship going on at school yesterday!
I popped in to welcome Alex, our new violin teacher, to Amesbury. There was a lot of concentration and plenty of smiles as he showed Eddie, Ifra and Arna the correct way to hold their violins in their first violin lesson!
In The Commons, I got to see Ethan, Varsha and Liam doing some serious strumming with Phil in their guitar lesson.
At lunchtime, the staff ukulele group were working hard on learning their latest piece, also working with Phil.
It's great to hear wonderful music making all around the school!
