Student Conferences Term 1 2021

We will be holding our first round of student conferences in the final week of this term.

All teachers will be running conferences in the evening (3:30pm onwards) of Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th April. In addition Eilis has an additional block of conferences on Tuesday 13th April.

If you haven't already booked in please refer to the notification that you received from Urs on Friday (19 March) for all of the details.

Art Trip - Weeks 10 & 11

As part of our focus on visual art in Terms 1 & 2, all hubs will have the opportunity to view artworks as well as engage in workshops at Te Papa, City Gallery Wellington/Te Whare Toi and The New Zealand Portrait Gallery.

We are in need of more whānau to assist with the trip - plus you get both an educational and an enjoyable day out. Without additional whānau help we cannot ensure that the trips will go ahead.

This week (Friday 9 April) Group 1 from both Koru & Harakeke Hubs have their trip. Jemima (Koru) & Sonali (Harakeke) have already sent you notices with the group that your child/ren is/are in.

For all of the details please refer to the article on the art trip.

Pōhutukawa Hub Art Trip

As you are already aware, Pōhutukawa Hub will be heading off on their art trips to the Wellington Portrait Gallery on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th April.

Thank you to those parents who have already volunteered to help us. However, we currently do not have enough parent help for either day and will be unable to attend if we cannot gain further support.

If you are able to help out on either day, please let Kalesha know by sending an email to kalesha@amesbury.school.nz. We thank you in advance for your support.

Koru Carpentry Activity

We are asking for parents to please bring in bottle tops, soft small woods or other items they may feel are useful for our carpentry activity.
