Amesbury Digest - 17 February 2020

Kia ora and welcome to the latest Amesbury Digest

We had a very pleasant Friday evening at school with the Meet'N'Greet. The weather came to the party, food-a-plenty - easy to eat and talk at the same time, great easy to listen to music in the background courtesy of Phil, our co-curricular guitar teacher, and his band, oh! and, before I forget, some short informative sessions by teachers in hub groups (sort of the reason we were all there).

There will be the opportunity on Tuesday 17 March to see in action what the teachers were talking about at the School Open Morning. Remember that if you wish to attend, it is important for you to RSVP via the School Open Morning form as there are limited spaces - so as not to disrupt learning.

Just a reminder, at the very least, to scan through the notices and articles that are sent out each week. They are always also attached to the bottom of the editorial in the weekly Amesbury Digest so that they are all in one place for you to find and read.

A link to the Digest is always emailed out each weekend, however, some readers prefer to receive these and other notifications via the app. If that, too, is your preference and you haven't already done so please download the app by searching 'SchoolAppsNZ' and then 'Amesbury' in the App Store.

Swimming lessons Term 2 2020

by Urs Cunningham

Kia ora koutou, We have swimming lessons coming up in term 2. These lessons will be running on Mondays for Harakeke and Pōhutukawa Hubs, and they will be on Thursdays for Koru Hub. There will be more information coming out about the lessons closer to the time. At this point we are looking for an initial indication of any students who will NOT be swimming next term. This will allow us to confirm numbers and costs for the lessons.
