Weetbix TRYathlon - Sunday 15 March 2020

Come and join the Amesbury School team at the Weetbix TRYathlon on 15 March 2020.

This is a fun event for school aged children where the emphasis is on having fun and taking part.

The three events for children 7 years and older are: Swim (Kilbirnie Pool), Bike & Run. If your child is under 7 years old there is a new event called the Splash and Dash: Swim and Run. If your child would prefer to do only one of these activities you can enter them in a team with their friends.

A number of Amesbury families have already entered for the morning session on Sunday 15 March 2020. We would love for you to join us on the day. When signing up link your child’s entry to Amesbury School, which is:

Up for the Mt Kaukau Challenge?

Khandallah School is holding the Kid’s Kaukau Challenge on Sunday 24 November and they would love for the Amesbury children to join them.

The Kid’s Kaukau Challenge is a fun walk/run up and down Mt Kaukau, starting and finishing at Khandallah School. Children that take part get a real feeling of achievement from taking up the challenge and also get to be part of an enjoyable community event.

The event is open to children aged 5-13 and registrations cost $20 for the first child in a family and $15 for each additional child. The registration fee covers a running bib, timing chip and goodie bag for each child.

More information is available on the Kaukau Challenge website here: https://www.kaukauchallenge.com/
