Give your Year 5-6 child the chance to explore, learn, and grow beyond the classroom with Children’s University Massey 2025!
Children’s University Massey is a programme designed for tamariki to participate in educational activities beyond school hours. Children’s University Massey is designed to nurture curiosity and independent learning, helping children develop skills for lifelong success. The programme is run in partnership with Children’s University Australasia and Africa and is supported by Massey University.
✔ Passport to Learning – Each participant receives a special passport where they record the time spent on approved learning activities.
✔ Exciting Learning Destinations – Students can visit approved locations such as museums, libraries, art galleries, parks, and more.
✔ Online and Extracurricular Activities – The programme also includes online learning modules and encourages participation in sports, music, robotics, and community activities.
✔ Discovery Days – Students will have the chance to attend events at Massey University campuses, where they engage in hands-on activities with university staff and researchers.
✔ Graduation Ceremony – Once students complete 30 hours of learning, they are recognised in a special graduation event where they receive a certificate celebrating their achievements.
