Parental Consent Needed for Google Apps Access - Due Today
As part of Google’s commitment to student safety, new checks are being introduced to ensure that students have permission to use Google apps. From March 2025, all schools must confirm parental consent each year for our students (e.g., YouTube, Google Maps).
Please complete this Form by Friday, 28th February.

School Community Gathering - Friday

Children's University for Year 6
Children's University Massey is running again in 2025 for our Year 6 tamariki.

Most importantly at this stage, though, is that she is looking for parents and caregiver volunteers to provide some of their time to help out to make the discos an enjoyable time for the tamariki. Please read through the list of tasks and, if you can help out, please complete this form.
We are looking for expressions of interest from any tamariki who wish to play netball for Amesbury in Terms 2 & 3.

We had our latest Share & Celebrate to finish the week at school. lots of singing and lots of generous for the recipients, a full list of who and why can be found here.
School Donations - how you can help
Amesbury School - like every other school - needs to supplement the operational funding received from the government. We endeavour to enrich the learning of all of our tamariki and we, in part, look to parents and caregivers to provide donations to the school. The rational and amounts are provided here. Additionally, donations made to the school are eligible for tax credits
What are using the donations for? Please read all about it here.
The annual Winter Project clothing drive is back, and we need your support to ensure everyone in Wellington stays warm this winter.
If you have any warm winter items in good condition that you no longer need, please bring them in and place them in the donation box located in the school reception area.

New Zealand Opera preparations for La bohèmeare now underway!
As part of our casting, we will be assembling a small, children’s chorus of unbroken voices. Children between the ages of 8-14 years are invited to apply to audition using this link.
