Recapitation is top of mind at the moment, with such an overwhelmingly positive response to the question of whether we should look at recapitation again. Please do come to one of the meetings being held next week to engage in a discussion about what people are wanting from year 7/8 schooling at Amesbury School.
Recapitation meetings
Monday, 20th March, 2017, 2 – 3pm – hall or library depending on numbers
Monday, 20th March, 2017, 6.30 – 7.30pm – hall or library depending on numbers
I look forward to hearing from you at the meeting. It is a great opportunity to do some educational blue sky thinking.
If you are not able to make it to either of the meetings, please do feel free to send me some thoughts via email, or pop in if I am free or make an appointment. I would love to hear from you. After these meetings, I will send out the thoughts that have been generated and this might prompt further thoughts.
Sorry about the hold up with the bike track. There have been a few issues we have been trying to sort out. In particular, we have been waiting for the track to harden. The copious rain we have had will hopefully have helped. There are a few more things to do and I am sure the track will be open soon. Watch this space!
Enjoy the rest of the week. Here’s hoping for a bit more summer at the weekend.
By the way, a big congratulations to Amaria and whanau on the birth of Sophia. Wishing them all lots of joy and blessings.
