Mihi Whakatau for New Students & Teachers

As always our mihi whakatau is a very special time for all of our new students, teachers and their whānau.

We held our Term 2 mihi whakatau on Monday 10 May and it was wonderful to see all of the smiling new faces as the new students were called into the hall.

Mihimihi were given by four of our Koru ākonga (students) - Miesha, Charlotte, Reyaansh and Adrik - who each did a wonderful job. This was followed by a whaikorero from Demelza.

The new students and teachers were then individually presented and took their place amongst the rest of the school as tangata whenua

Urs then introduced and welcomed Christine from ERO (Education Review Office) who will be our Evaluation Partner as we go through the new review process.

As usual, we then ended the mihi whakatau with kai.
