We are looking for a teacher for one of our three Year 7/8 Classes on a Thursday and Friday. This is to cover for a teacher who has been successfully appointed to an Across School Lead role within our Kahui Ako. The successful teacher will work with the current class teacher who will be teaching on Mondays – Wednesdays. The role will also consist of a small amount of CRT cover. Amuri Area School has a growing roll of students in Year 1-13 and is based in Culverden, in the thriving Amuri Basin. We have rivers, plains and mountains on our back doorstep and there are well established programmes in place for our PE and Outdoor Education classes. The school also has a lodge based in the Lewis Pass for the running of our camps and other programmes. We are in the process of creating a new strategic plan for this lodge and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to this.

A school house may be available in the township of Culverden.
