At the start of this term, our Year 10 and Year 11 Commerce students and Year 12 Business Studies were joined by some students from Hurunui College for an exciting 2 day Business Challenge, facilitated by YES (Young Enterprise Scheme). The students had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of business ideation and pitching their ideas to a panel of judges from our local community.

The 2 days were filled with creativity, and the students impressed us with their innovative concepts. A special congratulations goes to the winners, Wear it Green, who presented a fantastic idea for an app that tracks where clothes are made. This brilliant concept aims to tackle the issue of fast fashion and promote sustainability.

We are incredibly proud of all the students who participated and showcased their entrepreneurial spirit. Well done to everyone involved!
