May 2022 - Isabelle (Issy) Williamson

Congratulations to Issy Williamson who is our Achiever of the Month for May. Issy works hard in all she does and is one of just two people from Amuri who have advanced to the next round in the Otago Problem Solving challenge for Maths. She is entered in the Year 9/10 competition as a Year 8. This puts her in the top 15% nationally for this competition, which is already geared for the top students in each school.

April 2022 - Jakob Bush

Jakob is a wonderful mix of being hardworking and very capable. and is getting the results academically to prove it. He is also by any measure a wonderful person to be around! Well done Jacob and keep up the mahi! Best of luck to our students heading to the Area Schools Trials next Wednesday. We look forward to seeing our students making it into these representative teams. 

June 2021 - Kara Easton

Our achiever of the month is Kara Easton who is demonstrating our school value of excellence each and every day. She has recently achieved consistent excellence grades in Maths and Geography and has a consistently positive attitude towards her learning and future. Keep up the great work as a role model to others Kara. 

May 2021 - William Hamilton

This month the award and congratulations goes to William Hamilton. There are many ways to show achievement and commitment to school and William exhibits many of them. His engagement and enthusiasm in Kapa Haka is second to none and in class he works to the very best of his ability. His picture will take pride and place of the wall as you come onto school grounds and he has gained valuable points for his house at the end of the year. Well done William.

April 2021 - Robert Morgan

Our Achiever of the Month for April is Robert Morgan! Bob is a Year 11 student who is demonstrating a strong commitment to his learning. He works hard, works diligently and is making the most of every day and every opportunity. He is also kind, polite and respectful to his peers and teachers alike. Well done Bob you are an example for others to follow.

March 2021 - Sophia Manifold

This month our achiever of the month is a young lady who exemplifies our school value of Excellence. She applies herself to each and every classroom task and as a result has simply outstanding academic results across the board.
