For Non bus students who are wanting to ride on the school bus.

Here is a reminder around the procedures for this.

The bus drivers at Amuri are not obliged to take extra students and cannot if the bus is full. However, they are generally very obliging and can usually manage a request, if given enough notice.      

To make a request, please contact the office at least 24 hours before your child needs to use the bus. The office will then check with the driver and if it is approved will create a red bus note that will go on file for the driver to reference. Drivers will not take students on the bus without this authorisation. 

If there is an emergency, you can still ring the office on the day but we have to check with the driver before the card can be issued.

Long term requests

Sometimes students need to access the bus for things like sport practices over winter.  Please provide a written request to the school and we can look into whether or not there is space available to make this happen for you.
