Principal's Report
Week Seven
Our Year 6 classes have been on camp at Lake Waihola this week. They were all having a great time when I visited them yesterday. The water slide, kayaking and zip lining all seemed to be highlights for the children. We are lucky to have such great camp venues to go to in our area. The experience of going on camp is such a highlight for children and I know they will remember it for a very long time. We are also very fortunate to have so many fantastic parents who make the camp experience so special.
Our Year 4 students will be on camp on 10 and 11 December, and I am sure they are all looking forward to their experience too.
Today was the last day of school swimming for this year. The children have all learnt a lot over their swimming time, making great progress. We are fortunate to be able to provide these experiences to our children.
Next week our choir will be presenting a bracket of Christmas songs at a special assembly on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. If you have time, we would love you to come along and listen to them.
The PTA advise they raised $1,316.00 from our recent disco. Thank you to the families that supported this event and helped on the night.
