Woodhaugh Gardens

Anna Hailes —

Whānau Welcome!

Tēnā koutou,

On Friday 13 December we will be celebrating a successful school year together with a whole school picnic at Woodhaugh Gardens. Students will be in school uniform and must have their yellow vest with them. Students will arrive at school at the usual time with sunhat, packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, jacket and swimming togs and towel if they want to use the paddling pool.

Woodhaugh Gardens is located at 1081 George Street and has a variety of play equipment including a paddling pool, grass areas and toilet facilities.

Whānau are welcome and encouraged to join us from 11.30am at the gardens. We would love to see you there. Unfortunately there is no room on the bus for whānau.

Students will travel by bus to Woodhaugh Gardens, departing school at 11.15am with an expected arrival time of 11.30am. We will gather as a whole school beside the paddling pool which is where we will leave our bags before moving to various play equipment and activities within the immediate vicinity. At 12.30pm we will eat lunch as a whole school.  There will be time to play after lunch. At 2pm, the school will assemble, pack up and be collected by bus at 2.15pm.  We expect to be back at school between 2.30-2.45pm.

Students can use the paddling pool during their designated times if they have their togs and a towel.
