Principal's Report
As part of our national Road Safety Week, the children have all had a great session with Constable Greer on crossing the road safely. This was a great reminder for everyone about how to keep themselves safe near the road. The other thing that helps children stay safe is to be clearly visible. I have noticed this week that a few children are forgetting to wear their hi vis vest to school. If your child has lost their vest, please send them to the office for a replacement as we do expect all children to be wearing these when going to and from school.
While Constable Greer was working with the children this week, we noticed that a number of cars were not stopping at the crossing when children were waiting to cross. If you are approaching a pedestrian crossing, please remember to stop if there are children waiting to cross. We have also had a number of parents who have chosen to park either on yellow lines or across neighbours driveways while dropping off or picking up children from school. PLEASE keep all our children safe by only parking in designated parking spaces.
Thank you all for your support with keeping all of our children safe on the roads around our school.
