Classroom Building Upgrades

We are delighted to have the majority of our students in their new classrooms now that the builders have finished the first phase of the classroom upgrade project. The new rooms are warmer and lighter and have great indoor / outdoor flow. It’s been great to see the learning in these rooms this week.

Welcome

Joe Carvell has joined our teaching staff this week and we wish him a warm welcome. Joe will be working in our Māhuri junior team for the rest of the year.

Uniform Feedback

Thank you to everyone for reading our uniform review last term and for giving us feedback about specific uniform items. It was great to see that both students and parents are generally happy with the current uniform items. There were a small number of concerns about the fading and the zip on the polar fleece and we have passed this feedback on to NZ Uniforms to see what can be done about these concerns. If you do have issues with the performance of any uniform item, please also pass this feedback directly to NZ Uniforms so that they are immediately aware of this. In response to student feedback, we have asked NZ Uniforms to look into the fastenings on the skort as the zip and button can be tricky to manage.

We have updated our school website to reflect uniform expectations more clearly.
