Principal's Report
It was a pleasure to see so many of you at our Structured Literacy afternoon on Wednesday. We are very excited by the results we are seeing in literacy progress for our students with this approach and we can also see the enjoyment that comes with learning something new and being successful. Next week we will send out the powerpoint from Wednesday’s session, along with some resources you may find useful at home.
Move It March
Thank you to those students who joined our Move It March walking buses today. The morning was a little cooler but the smiles were warm. We would love to see even more students joining us next Friday walking to school. It really is a great way to start the day.
Choir Trip
It was a privilege to hear our school choir performing at the Otago Museum this morning as part of the Wild Dunedin NZ Festival of Nature. We are fortunate to have opportunities like this where our students can perform in public with other schools. If your child has been thinking about joining the choir, please let them know to go and see Miss Wood before the choir starts practising for their next event in June.
