Wednesday 14 September was an exciting day for the 100 children (Year 2 -Year 6) who had chosen to be a part of the Kapa Haka group this year.

They performed at the Otago Polyfest with enthusiasm, confidence, energy and mana. Our thanks go to our guitarist Miss Wood and our tutor, Resource Teacher of Māori Lauana Thomas for helping the group prepare for this event.

Our performance included some slick poi action from the girls and a stirring Poutini haka from the boys.
