Weekly Update
Today we acknowledged Pink Shirt Day and the school was awash with pink. Students have been learning about being a good friend in classes, including how to be an upstander instead of a bystander. Connected to our pillars of respect and responsibility, we see many acts of kindness at school everyday from students, staff and our wider community.
This week was support staff appreciation week. We are extremely lucky to have the most wonderful support staff! Our Teacher Aides, Office Administrator and Caretaker provide our students and staff with amazing support every day. Māhuri have been reducing lunch box waste through Nude Food Fridays. If everyone takes small steps to reduce single use plastics, collectively we can make a big difference.
Have a wonderful weekend.
